a month agoOn July 3, 2026, I underwent an FUE hair transplant for 2,500 grafts at Haarkliniek De Kroon. After multiple consultations at various clinics, I chose De Kroon because of their honest and down-to-earth approach. They truly prioritize quality over quantity. No sales pitches, just honest advice. That gave me immediate confidence. The communication was also excellent. Everything was clearly explained beforehand, I received a tour of the clinic (it looks modern and clean), and I was called both before and after the treatment to ask how I was doing. The treatment day proceeded as follows: 1. Determining the hairline and explanation. 2. Taking photos and shaving the hair. 3. Removing the grafts. 4. Lunch break (lunch included). 5. Creating channels. 6. Placing the grafts. 7. Follow-up discussion and taking a complete aftercare kit home. I was busy from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Nevertheless, the team was friendly and professional all day, and created a relaxed atmosphere. I initially planned for 2,500 grafts, but ultimately 2,814 could be removed. This allowed them to treat part of my crown at no extra cost. I paid 5,200 euros for my treatment plus 300 euros for the DNA test I had done (optional) to see which types of food/drinks etc. might be influencing my hair loss. Three weeks later, I am very satisfied. The recovery went quickly, I experienced hardly any discomfort (the swelling was gone after 4 days), and the new hairline looks beautiful and natural (no LEGO hairline). The aftercare is also excellent; I could always call with questions and was helped in a friendly manner. The final result is yet to come, of course, but if everything else is just as good as the treatment and the service, then I have every confidence.
