2 months agoUpdate January 22, 2026: 8 months later, and the results are exceeding expectations! I've been in regular contact with the doctor at Haarkliniek De Kroon recently due to inflammation in my donor area. They decided to start a course of antibiotics to calm my skin. This not only had a positive effect on the number of grafts but also ensured that the treated area was optimally prepared. After a check-up with the doctor, I was scheduled for the hair transplant. From that moment on, I immediately felt like I was in good hands. They have true specialists working here, which gave me great confidence in the rest of the process. On the day of the treatment, I was expected at 8:00 am. The doctor clearly explained how the day would proceed, and I was given a list of delicious sandwiches from which to choose my lunch. In the morning, the hairs were carefully selected and the transplant area was prepared. After lunch, three hair specialists got to work placing the grafts one by one. The treatment was completed around 3:30 PM, and by 4:00 PM I was back in the car on my way home. The day went so professionally and pleasantly that I decided to write a comprehensive review. A hair transplant is a major decision for many people, and you want to be sure you're making the right choice. 4 months agoIn 2019, I chose this clinic. The consultation was positive, but the person who would perform the transplant wasn't there. On the day of the surgery, I met the two women for the first time. One made me feel uncomfortable and made me sit in uncomfortable positions for hours. After 10 hours of treatments, the doctor came to see the results and said: "See you in five years, then you'll probably need it again." This had never been mentioned before; I had been promised long-lasting results. Very frustrating. The worst part is that the implants are poorly placed. The hairs grow at an unnatural 90-degree angle. I was promised rosy results, but I feel disfigured.

8 months agoDe Kroon Hair Clinic. I can't say a single negative thing about it. I hesitated for years about getting a hair transplant. The deciding factor for me was an article in the Algemeen Dagblad titled "Hair Clinic Warns of Illegal Hair Transplants" (June 24, 2022). A man who had been treated abroad had gone terribly wrong. At De Kroon Hair Clinic, they managed to reconstruct his hairline, despite the damage that had already been done. The staff is friendly, professional, and puts you at ease. No nonsense about whether or not to get a hair transplant, but a clear assessment to achieve the best result for you. Three years have passed now and I don't regret the treatment at all.
