Dr. Ziering received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in 1989 in Miami, Florida. He underwent his internship with the University if Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and simultaneously began working with the MHR surgical team, assisting Dr. Matt Leavitt with hair transplant surgery. THese years would prove to be the foundational ones where Dr. Ziering explored his fascination with how hair grows naturally and the impact of progressive hair loss. These would be those years when he began crafting his surgical skills based on a pure love and desire to achieve more natural looking results. Dr. Ziering would go on to complere his residency in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at Ohio University’s Grandview Medical Center in Dayton. Ohio in 1993.
After this period of extensive post graduate education and training, Dr. Ziering spent time completing a formal Fellowship in Hair Restoraion Medical Hair Restoration in Orlando, Florida under the supervision of Dr. Matt Leavitt and eventually became the Associate Medical Director at Medical Hair Restoration MHR, serving in this capacity for a period of ten years and performing surgery in Orlando, Miami, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Washington, DC and New York City.In 2003, Dr. Ziering opened the doors to his private practice, Ziering Medical, which is headquartered in Beverly Hills, California with surgical centers located in Newport Beach, California and Las Vegas, Nevada. Over time, Ziering Medical expanded to Chicago and New York City.
Affectionately known as Doc Z to his colleagues and patients, Dr. Ziering received his medical degree in 1989 from Nova Southeastern University in Miami, Florida. 10 out of 10 Experience! From the start, it was a great experience. Chelsea explained the whole process from start to finish and laid out all of the financial options available. Although this isn't the "cheapest option" the design of the hairline as well as the overall experience and professionalism of the staff is top-notch. The nurses, the doctors, the techs are all best-in-class. Aside from Dr. Ziering's attention to detail when It came to the design, the attention and support I received from Dr. Ogbalideh (Dr. O) as she is so caring and calming during this process. They also have the latest innovation in that they are able to bank my stem cells using Acorn and create my own secretome for maintenance. This is a personalized Exosome product made from my own stem cells! FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE!!!
Just had my surgery done last week and so far so good. All the nurses/the whole team including Dr Ziering were amazing and took really good care of me. They explained to me everything I needed to do. I am still healing but so far so good, I had a great experience. The only thing I would say is that I wasn't really impressed with Chelsea. I ended up paying full amount (no financing) and she was really vague when we were asking questions regarding the deposit. She was difficult to reach out when we were asking questions regarding booking etc. I even had to tell her at some point by messages that I wasn't so impressed with the way she was answering my questions. I still booked because I knew Dr Ziering is amazing. After that she got a bit better, but still. Also, the day of my surgery I found out that she added some lab fees to send samples somewhere, which is an extra when I specifically told her I didn’t want to add anything. The team was nice and easy removed that, but again, not so happy with her on that. She didn’t give any explanations and just added that without explaining or asking. Not to be mean or anything but I would honestly just switch her with someone else because she wasn't that great prior to booking and even during booking… Other than that, the rest of the team is great!
This review is overdue. Around 3 months ago I went to see Dr. Ziering because I was losing a lot of hair at the top of my head. Dr Ziering eased my concerns. He is very professional and kind. He explained what problem I have and provided me a plan of treatment. I started with the Cleanse and Sustenance Ziering shampoo and conditioner. I also used 5% prescription minoxidil with tretinoin and KeraFactor hair serum.daily. Three months later, I see a lot of hair growing in the too of my head. I highly recommend Dr Ziering to anyone experiencing hair loss.
At 65 years of age my hair started thinning as well as eye-bows. My dermatologist recommended Ziering Medical after attempting some topicals and other treatments. I made an appointment with Chelsea Best who took care of everything from setting up my consultation, how to prep before surgery and all post op questions after surgery, the consultation was with Dr Ziering, he explained everything that would be involved, the surgery, cost and length of time it would take before I would see the results. Day of the surgery, sit back relax you are in good hands, everyone made me feel at ease, they were professional and courteous, you are treated like royalty. All I can say is thank you to Dr Ziering, his assistant Heather who went out of her way to make sure everything went smooth, Chelsea, and the entire team at Ziering Medical, I am just an average working guy and very grateful that the Ziering Medical group took the time to make sure my wife of 35 years will still be able to run her hands through my hair. Great Job.
