Wonderful Experience :) This is my third hair transplant at the Farjo hair Institute Manchester. I like to go when I see a thinning area, rather than do it with an all in one major surgery after going bald etc. Luckily for me, after looking at a few UK clinics before I had my first one and that I didn't want to risk going to Turkey, so I decided to go with Farjo. From the moment I got there around 7-30am I was treated like Royalty. The whole experience was pain free by Dr Farjo and his wonderful assistants, where some of the lovely nurses were still working there from my first transplant years ago, which tells you everything about this clinic if they can keep quality staff. At 62, people always say how good my hair looks and can't believe 'in fact shocked' that it's mostly from a hair transplant when I tell them. I have also recommended a few friends who are also happy from going there. I wouldn't risk a cheaper option anywhere as the Farjo clinic prices are reasonable anyway, especially for the quality of care as you don't get a second chance with hair if matters go wrong... I'm extremely happy and even if another clinic offered me a hair transplant for free I wouldn't take it. You feel wonderful with a good head of hair, especially when older. I'm just feel lucky for choosing the Dr Farjo Institute. Thank you all again for everything!

Very disappointed with this clinic and the results that I ended up with… I initially went in November 2024 for my procedure after the usual consultations leading Upto it, up to this point they were fine to deal with, it was only a small procedure 1500 circa hairs to fill in some gaps around my temple area, I’d say it’s probably one of the most straight forward / easiest procedures they would carry on, it was a big area put it that way… anyway skip to the procedure day and I was advised to come in early for 8am, I won’t bore you with to many details but the procedure felt rushed, was meant to stop for some lunch for 30 mins but they were back in the room where I was left to have my lunch within 10-12 mins so I felt a little uncomfortable with this, anyway we carried on and I was surprised at how little Dr Farjo was involved, 98% of the procedure is completed by nurses so if you’re going to this clinic based on a certain reputation… don’t bother… maybe if you’re a celeb you may get the actual ‘DR’ service but for me it was completed by I believe 3 nurses crowded around my head. They told me at the end of the day that there would be regular check ups and consultations to generally check the progress which gave me confidence, I paid just under £7000 for this basis Fue transplant and now we are 16 months later I’ve never heard from them once… I’ve sent a couple of emails but no reply…. I do recall when I first registered my interest the contact from the clinic was relentless in basically securing my deposit, Cheryl I believe who is employed on the sales side will sell you a good solid caring clinic but as I’ve found and a few others from reviews I’ve now read it just isn’t genuine, they don’t actually care about long term progress or results, they are only interested in your money, absolutely gutted as i had a choice of a few clinics but I went with Farjo as they were local and now I’m massively regretting that decision. Overall my results are really poor, I’d say I’m 5/10% better than when I first went in… it’s not very noticeable at all and for what I paid they should have got this right as it was a small area around my temples, nowhere else, I believe they used to few donor hairs, the job was rushed and it felt they were more interested at finishing at 6pm rather than providing me with what I had paid for, don’t forget they also started my procedure 2 hours late at 10pm when I was told it would start at circa 8am, no explanation needed as given for this. I went to this clinic based on the reviews I had read about Dr Farjo but I ended up with an extremely poor experience and I'm now in the process of researching alternative clinics to try and put it right which feels a massive let down when I already paid a substantial amount to them. It feels like if you’re a profile or a celeb you may get the service from Dr Farjo and potentially get good results but please don’t make the mistake that I did and go to this clinic based on reviews for Dr Farjo as it’s highly unlikely he will be a part of your hair transplant on the day, he just does a quick check at the end, the main process will be left to the nurses , I just wish I knew this before I parted with £7000. I’m sure they will reply as they have to other negative reviews and suggest they don’t recognize me or they have no record of me but please believe me this is a true factual story and it’s taken me a long time to come around to leave this review as initially I was going to leave it but I’ve come to the conclusion that others need to be warned that this clinic is not all that it’s cracked up to be unless maybe you’re a ‘profile’ if you’re just a general layman like me then all they see is your money and I believe you will get a poor procedure overall with no serious input from Dr Farjo. I had a hair transplant in April 2025 with Dr Bessam Farjo and Dr Nilofer Farjo to restore my hairline, and I could not be happier with the results so far. I attended my 8 month check-in in December 2025, which went really well, and it is reassuring to know that I still have more results yet to come. From my very first consultation with Dr Bessam, I knew I was in safe hands. I had wanted a hair transplant for a long time but was always very worried about the pain and the procedure itself. Dr Bessam took the time to explain everything clearly and honestly, which immediately put me at ease and allowed me to book with confidence. On the day of the surgery, both doctors were extremely professional and explained each stage of the procedure clearly. The support staff and nurses were equally friendly, reassuring, and accommodating throughout the day. Lunch was provided and the whole experience felt very well organised and calm. In terms of pain, the first five minutes were the only slight discomfort I felt. After that, the remaining seven hours were an absolute doddle and I was so relaxed that I even slept through parts of the surgery. The aftercare has been incredible. I was given saline spray and clear instructions on how to wash my hair properly to avoid damaging the grafts while they settled. The ongoing support has been excellent and very reassuring. I also discussed having my crown done in the future, but Dr Farjo gave honest and professional advice and recommended waiting a little longer to avoid creating an island of hair in the event of further loss. We are also looking at hair loss prevention options. Overall, this was an amazing experience from start to finish. A very professional and knowledgeable team who genuinely care about their patients. I would highly recommend Dr Bessam Farjo, Dr Nilofer Farjo, and the entire team to anyone considering a hair transplant.

I’ve recently had a hair transplant at Farjo Manchester and I can’t speak highly enough of them! They have been absolutely brilliant and a special mention to Dr. Zayn Sattar and Dr. Farjo himself plus the whole team including Cheryl and the nurses that looked after me on the day, they were all fantastic! I am so happy with my new hairline and all the work they have done, very professional from start to finish! I can’t wait to see the full results! If anybody is thinking of having a hair transplant, then you need to go to Farjo Manchester!!
