Dr. Farjo qualified as a doctor of medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1988 and honed his skills in general surgery at NHS hospitals across the UK and Ireland. In 1993, he co-founded the Farjo Hair Institute with his wife, Dr. Nilofer Farjo. The institute, which specializes exclusively in hair transplant surgery and hair restoration medicine, has established itself as one of the world’s leading hair transplant clinics, with offices in Manchester and London. In 1996, Dr. Farjo co-founded The British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery, serving as its President from 2002 to 2004. He is a registered member of the Institute of Trichologists and was appointed a Board Governor and medical director in 2000. In 2003, he passed the examination of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS), where he served as Board Director from 2006 to 2012.

Dr. Farjo’s contributions to the field extend beyond clinical practice. He served on the Board of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS) from 2002 to 2009 and was the first European doctor elected as ISHRS President in 2007–2008. Currently, he is the Lead ISHRS Ambassador. Over the past 21 years, Dr. Farjo has performed over 6,500 transplant procedures, establishing himself as an expert in hair transplant surgery and hair restoration medicine. His expertise is frequently sought by the media, and he has over 70 hair and scalp presentations/publications to his name. Dr. Farjo has also actively participated in more than 70 workshops, meetings, and conferences worldwide, sharing his extensive knowledge and advancing the field of hair restoration.
