Since 1976, he has dedicated his career to advancing hair replacement surgery, contributing significantly to the field as an active member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons and regularly participating in global conferences, workshops, and forums to stay at the forefront of continuing education.

Growing up in Albany, Georgia, Dr. Griffin earned his B.S. in chemistry from the University of Georgia and his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia. After completing his internship in pediatrics at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital, he served in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Norfolk, Virginia, and later completed his dermatology residency at Mary Hitchcock Hospital at Dartmouth College. Dr. Griffin is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He holds positions on the clinical faculty at Emory University Medical School and is on staff at Northside and St. Joseph’s Hospitals. An active member of various professional organizations, including the Atlanta Dermatology Association and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Griffin continues to make significant contributions to dermatology and hair restoration.
