Dr. Jordan P. Sand, M.D., F.A.C.S., serves as the Director of the Spokane Center for Facial Plastic Surgery, bringing extensive expertise and dedication to his practice. Fellowship-trained in facial plastic surgery and a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Sand has achieved remarkable recognition in his field. He is the recipient of the Jack R. Anderson Prize for Scholastic Excellence from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, awarded to the surgeon with the highest combined score on the ABFPRS examination. Dr. Sand holds dual board certifications from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Additionally, he is a fellow member of the American College of Surgeons and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons. He has been consistently recognized as one of the best cosmetic surgeons in the Spokane region by Spokane + Coeur d’Alene Living magazine and is a luminary surgeon for the FaceTite/BodyTite platform. Dr. Sand specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries of the scalp, nose, face, and neck, with a focus on minimally and non-invasive procedures, facial rejuvenation, nasal surgery, hair restoration, eyelid surgery, and reconstructive surgeries.
Born and raised in the Inland Northwest, Dr. Sand’s academic journey is marked by excellence and numerous accolades. As valedictorian of his high school class, he received multiple awards at Whitworth University, including the Valedictorian Scholarship Award, Jef Olson Leadership Award, and the Johnston-Hanson Excellence in Science Scholarship. Graduating summa cum laude, he was honored with the Outstanding Senior Chemistry Major Award and the Whitworth University Alumni Ideals Award. Dr. Sand then attended the University of Washington School of Medicine with a prestigious $300,000 scholarship from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. During medical school, he was involved in leadership roles at local and national levels and completed a fellowship at Harvard Medical School with the Sarnoff Research Foundation. Dr. Sand’s training in Head and Neck Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis included significant contributions to research and leadership as the administrative chief resident. Following this, he joined the faculty at UCLA as a Clinical Instructor and Fellow, honing advanced techniques in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Sand’s commitment extends beyond his practice, participating in humanitarian missions, such as a cleft and craniofacial surgery trip to Nicaragua.
