After a successful 18-year career in group practice as a Board Certified Surgeon, Dr. Zadnik joined Bosley to exclusively practice hair restoration surgery. Dr. Zadnik trained in the Bosley program of Hair Transplantation under Medical Director Ken Washenik, M.D., Ph.D., and Associate Medical Director Edwin Suddleson, M.D. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and a member of the Minneapolis Surgical Society. He is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in Minnesota, California and South Dakota. Dr. Zadnik completed his undergraduate studies in 1988 at Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Chemistry with a minor in Biology. He earned his M.D. from the University of Toledo College of Medicine, Toledo, Ohio in 1992. As a medical student, he participated in a medical mission in the Dominican Republic. Subsequently, he completed his internship and residency training in General Surgery at the University of Toledo Medical Center and associated hospitals in Toledo, Ohio in 1997. After finishing surgical training Dr. Zadnik served as a Major in the Medical Corps of the USAF at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. After an honorable discharge, he pursued a career at Mercy Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota where he practiced as a general surgeon performing a variety surgeries, including intra-abdominal surgery, breast cancer surgery and hernia repair surgery. He was also member of the core trauma program. He also served as the lead physician of the clinic for five years. Dr. Zadnik is married to Melissa and they have five children. A daughter and son in high school, a son at St. Cloud State University studying physical therapy, a daughter at the University of Minnesota studying biology and a son who works with the physically challenged.
