3 weeks agoI am based in the UK and wanted to undergo a minor cosmetic rhinoplasty with Dr. Kanodia, 77, at his clinic. To be frank, I was fooled by the so-called success stories and high-profile case studies showcased on their page. I only wanted a sliver removed from the dorsal hump and above the tip. I was perfectly healthy and had zero functional/breathing issues. Below is an outline of the terrible experience I endured at every stage. Despite knowing I was flying in from abroad, the clinic moved my initial consultation from the day before surgery to the day of the procedure, presenting as though no other options were available. On the day of surgery, they further delayed the consultation from the morning to the afternoon at short notice. Given my tight travel schedule, I had no realistic choice but to accept this modified timeline. This delay resulted in an extremely rushed consultation immediately prior to surgery. Rather than taking my input, the surgeon dictated his own approach and quickly scribbled a rough sketch, seemingly more focused on keeping to the contracted anaesthesiologist’s schedule than discussing the procedure. As a result, I entered the operating theatre without ever having reviewed or agreed upon a concrete surgical plan. A month after surgery, I expressed initial dissatisfaction regarding pinching at the nasal tip, which they attributed to standard post-surgical swelling. I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt. However, over time, the pinching, flattening, and over-rotation of the tip worsened, and I noticed excessive narrowing and lowering of the bridge, which I never asked for. I continued updating the coordinator on my condition, and after three months of persistent requests, Dr. Kanodia agreed to a Zoom call where he simply reiterated it was just swelling. Following no improvement, the doctor agreed to a second follow-up call. During this call, instead of addressing my physical symptoms, he said I was “irrational” and stated, “you love to complain.” He then added, “no one told you to get a nose job.” It was in that moment I realised the very surgeon who told me I was the “perfect candidate” for his technique during our initial sales call was now refusing to take any responsibility for the outcome. Since January, the clinic has stopped responding to my emails entirely. From my perspective, I was essentially left to fend for myself with a totally new nose that, personally, looks abnormal and does not suit me, alongside functional problems I simply did not have prior. I now experience significant nasal discomfort and breathing difficulties that severely impact my sleep, forcing me to sleep on my side / use elevated pillow support. I now suffer from severe headaches, recurrent sinus issues, persistent inflammation and non-allergic rhinitis, alongside throbbing, burning, and electric shock-type sensations along the sides of my nasal bridge that make wearing glasses painful. When I inhale, part of my nose visibly caves inward and occasionally produces bizarre squeaking or creaking sounds. My nose feels structurally tender and unsupported given so much cartilage has been resected, and I have since been fast-tracked for an ENT investigation here in the UK to assess structural complications, such as potential nasal-valve and mid-vault collapse. What I hoped would be simple, minor anatomical refinements with prompt recovery ultimately cost me my physical wellbeing and has severely deteriorated my mental health. Two years wasted on medical appointments, therapy and rebuilding my self confidence to a reasonable baseline instead of advancing my career, taking up opportunities, enjoying my youth etc. I share this to inform prospective patients that behaviour like this exists. Remember the obvious financial incentive the clinic has to secure your payment - and ignore the social media marketing gimmicks and consultation bravado. The doctor and his clinic frequently boast about making people’s dreams come true, but what I have endured has been a total nightmare.

a month agoDr Kanodia changed my life for the better! When I decided I wanted to get my nose done I was 16 and there was no one else I would have gone to besides Dr Kanodia. I got my nose done two and a half years ago and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I have a very low pain tolerance and the process was an absolute breeze and painless. It was my first ever surgery and I was scared but Dr Kanodia and his amazing team made everything feel better. I always look back at my recovery period as an amazing time in my life. I love my nose and my face looks so much more balanced. People don’t believe I got a nose job, it seems as if I was just born with my new nose. It’s the perfect fit to my face. Dr Kanodia is blunt and that’s what you need in a great doctor. Truly the best experience, I can’t recommend it enough.

2 months agoLife changing!! Dr. Kanodia is an artist and my rhinoplasty came out PERFECT. I am only 2 weeks into healing and I am in love. He gave me exactly what I wanted and what I knew was his speciality. He gave me ME, but better. The bandage was removed, and even swollen I was like, oh it's the real me! He made my bridge more narrow, removed the dorsal hump and slightly lifted the tip. I have a gorgeous profile now!! AND I loved the way I looked before, I completely look like myself just more proportional and feminine. And scarless, closed rhino is such a smooth healing. My breathing came back fully after the cast was taken off in one week. I already feel normal again. It is such a beautiful natural result. I am THRILLED. Dr. Kanodia is THE GUY and is famous for a reason. If you want a natural, refined, no way anyone would ever think you got a nosejob, he's the one. The team there is fantastic. Lisa his surgical coordinator was AMAZING answered all of my questions immediately, and got me off the waitlist for an earlier appointment. Nicole his assistant was excellent and caring. And Nurse Karla did my C02 laser while I was under, and my aftercare said it was the most even, well done laser treatment they'd ever seen. I cannot recommend him more and feel like a renewed person after this. Thank you Dr. Kanodia!!

2 months agoDr. Kanodia has changed my life for the better. Once I discovered that Dr. Kanodia performs septorhinoplasties using a closed method, I knew instantly that I wanted him to perform my procedure. I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else to touch my face. I am about 3 weeks post op, and can confidently say that Dr. Kanodia gave me the exact nose I wanted, with regard to both cosmetics and functionality. Dr. Kanodia actually discovered that I broke my nose years ago (which I was unaware of!) and placed my nose back into its intended shape and position. After my procedure I can finally breathe! Additionally, he successfully deprojected my nose and it looks so much smaller than it did before. I cannot stop taking photos of my side profile. I feel like my life is just beginning with my new nose! I don’t even feel like I need to wear makeup anymore because my face is so much more harmonious and balanced. It looks so natural and looks like the nose that I was meant to be born with. My one recommendation is to follow his post-op care instructions very strictly! I barely had any swelling and bruising because of his well-designed protocols. Thank you so so so much Dr. Kanodia for giving me my perfect nose! He is the best nose surgeon there is and the best there will ever be. The procedure was worth every dollar and it is a lifelong investment. If you’re considering getting your nose done with Dr. Kanodia, this is your sign!

3 months agoI cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Raj Kanodia. From the moment I walked into his office, I felt completely at ease. He has such a gentle, caring, and thoughtful approach with his patients, taking the time to listen and explain everything in detail. The results have been absolutely amazing. Dr. Kanodia performed a lip flip for me—which I had never tried before—and I was blown away by how natural and beautiful the results turned out. He also did the Nefertiti Botox treatment, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. The results are elegant, subtle, and incredibly rejuvenating. What sets Dr. Kanodia apart is not only his artistry and expertise but also how genuinely kind and attentive he is. He has an incredible eye for enhancing your natural beauty while making you feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. Thank you, Dr. Kanodia, for your exceptional care and amazing results. You are truly gifted, and I am so grateful to have found you!
