2 weeks agoPoor communication and disregard for medical urgency Very disappointed with the working methods of Bergman Vrouw Hilversum. Despite a referral from the GP for a second opinion/transfer due to medical errors elsewhere, it takes well over a month before a substantive response is received at all. This only happened after I threatened to take action myself. Although my GP indicated urgency, this is unceremoniously downgraded to 'regular care' with a waiting time of 6 months. They show no flexibility or understanding whatsoever for patients who need acute care to be able to return to work. The promised quick response times are not met at all. Not recommended if you are looking for decisive care.

4 weeks agoI visited Bergman Clinics in Hilversum for a consultation with Dr. Van der Lei for a second opinion regarding my eyelid and also for a buttock correction. When making the appointment, it was not indicated that Dr. Van der Lei does not perform buttock corrections, which meant unnecessary time and travel for me. I found the consultation itself disappointing. The conversation proceeded quickly and came across as curt. I did not feel that my situation was truly being listened to, even though I came with a specific complication following a previous procedure. A general solution was mainly proposed (forehead lift), which in my opinion does not align with my problem. When I pointed this out, little attention was paid to it. Additionally, I noticed that other patients were given more time, while my consultation was concluded quite quickly. This gave me the feeling that there was little attention paid to my situation. All in all, I did not feel taken seriously and had expected more involvement and professionalism given his expertise!

2 months agoGood doctors. But unfortunately, they're not reachable if you have a question or want to change your appointment. Appointments aren't scheduled in consultation as they should be.
