Dr. Sauter deepened her expertise in the field of hair transplantation through active participation in international congresses, workshops, and internships with renowned hair surgeons. Her journey led her to collaborate with the esteemed Dr. Halsner, a pioneer in autologous hair transplantation, who had been publishing groundbreaking results since the 1980s with his mentor, Dr. Manfred Lucas, the founder of Meditra GmbH. This partnership allowed Dr. Sauter to absorb a wealth of knowledge and experience from Dr. Halsner, contributing to her comprehensive understanding of advanced hair transplantation techniques, including the development of micro hair transplantation in Germany.

In early 2018, Dr. Sauter became the owner of the hair transplantation practice, bringing her robust training in plastic and microsurgery, combined with a keen aesthetic sense, to her patients. With over a decade of surgical experience, she is dedicated to providing trustworthy and competent treatment, specializing entirely in hair surgery. Her commitment to excellence is further evidenced by her active membership in the Association of German Hair Surgeons (VDHC), ensuring she remains at the forefront of advancements in the field.

Last year I already had Dr. Called Sauter to make an appointment for a consultation regarding hair transplantation. I had relatively severe hair loss. Ms. Sauter took a lot of time for me, considering it was a first telephone conversation and we had never met before. I was immediately very positively impressed, especially since Ms. Sauter also gave me tips on what I could do with my hair before the appointment to improve the situation. Today was the appointment and Ms. Sauter explained to me the different methods of a transplant. But, she also told me that in my particular case she didn't know whether the result would be 100% satisfactory, which was due to various previous illnesses on my part. That was very competent and thoroughly serious and, above all, very nice and friendly advice. I have rarely felt so comfortable and in such good hands with a doctor .

I had 3 consultations about hair transplantation this year! Although two of these discussions were in well-known beauty clinics, the consultation did not take place directly with the operating doctor, but rather with a hair specialist. The bottom line is that after the two conversations I was no wiser and had not gained any new insights on this topic. Then I went to Dr.'s website. med. Sauter pushed! This consultation took place directly with Ms. Sauter and she took a lot of time, answered my questions and carried out a lot of tests on the hair. A direct exchange with the treating doctor is simply something completely different!! Even a few weeks later, Ms. Sauter was always available personally and, in response to another flood of questions, offered me a personal consultation appointment. My personal attitude to my “construction site” led me not to have any treatment carried out! - Here, too, Ms. Sauter reacted with understanding and answered me directly with encouragement For anyone who is still unsure, I can only warmly recommend a consultation!

Review of my FUT hair transplant, 1200 grafts - 2 weeks after surgery. The review is 100% free and unpaid. Why DE and not Türkiye I watched countless YouTube videos, read blogs/experience reports, browsed forums and googled clinics. My conclusion: The hair op industry is a huge market, highly competitive with many promises on the Internet, tough price competition, countless paid advertisements on all platforms (especially from Turkey) and endless opinions from different levels of education. At the end of the day you have to make up your own mind. Why Dr. Sauter Ms. Sauter convinced from A-Z, online presence, communication, preparation, implementation, care and aftercare. Everything is from a single source, thought through and well planned. Always polite, competent and available. What was important to me: 1. Good, competent support in German 2. Advice & implementation by an experienced professional doctor, not a "beauty consultant" who works by quantity 3. Clinic “nearby” for questions/support/aftercare/problems. 4. What was NOT important to me (a decision and implementation for life): Money. An operation in DE clearly costs more. About abroad: In the best case scenario, if everything works out as desired, money will be saved. In the worst case scenario: No means to correct it, legally no chance, no care/aftercare, live with it for the rest of your life or then have it corrected in DE, if at all possible (googled FUE Fail). But I'm also risk-averse here. A few details about the process: 1. Surgery consultation I became aware of Ms. Sauter on the Internet when I was researching the Association of German Hair Surgeons (vdhc.de) and found Ms. Sauter's online presence appealing and professional. Your profile is also meaningful (experience, collaboration with other specialists, activity in associations). I then sent a consultation request with 2 photos on the website and received a personal call one day later. This short conversation was very informative, which meant that I immediately arranged an on-site consultation appointment. I would highly recommend this appointment to anyone who is thinking about it. Ms. Sauter advised me as a doctor and showed me all the important information and risks, addressed everything that one might not have considered, examined the current hair condition, and explained what would be possible with an operation and also what was not possible. 2. Surgery preparation The appointment should be scheduled approx. 2-3 months before the operation. There, the exact scope of the operation was planned, a cost estimate was discussed (fixed calculation according to GÖÄ number 744, see Google), a preliminary risk discussion and a possible operation date were agreed. You also get a top guide on what to keep in mind in everyday life in the weeks before/after the operation. 3. Surgery execution I mentioned that if possible I didn't want to see any needles, knives or blood during the operation. This was implemented 100% professionally, I noticed almost nothing. The operation was carried out personally by Ms. Sauter and assisted by two experienced and warm-hearted medical nurses. It took about 6 hours (FUT 1200 grafts). Breaks can be taken between steps (toilet and lunch). The operation was almost painless, and we continuously ensure that the patient is doing well during the operation. Ms. Sauter and the medical nurses were friendly, courteous and encouraging at all times. You felt in good hands. 4. Surgical aftercare and result You should plan around 2 weeks of vacation. I had little to no pain, but of course there is something pulling on my head, after all, you have fresh scars. After the operation, Ms. Sauter can be reached every day if she has any questions/problems. After approx. After 10-12 days the crusts in the recipient area came off when showering. A follow-up check was carried out after 2 weeks. The thread was self-dissolving. There were no complications. As of now (2 weeks post-op) I would do it again because it's really not bad in terms of pain. We'll see what the result is in 6-12 months.
