>Dr. Bea Gerbrands earned her Medical Degree from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Following her residency, she pursued additional training, obtaining a Diploma in Anesthesiology from the South African College of Medicine. Relocating to Canada in 1998, she completed the LMCC 1, LMCC 2, and CCFP examinations in Family Medicine. In 2001, Dr. Gerbrands ventured into Hair Health and Hair Transplantation, achieving diploma status with the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgeons. She remains an active member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons.
Dedicated to continuous learning, Dr. Gerbrands stays abreast of the latest advancements in hair loss treatments through reading, attending international conferences, and engaging with colleagues. She is known for her knowledgeable, empathetic, and results-oriented approach. In her own words, “Hair loss is a nuanced condition that requires long-term management.
