10 months agoKnowledgeable, skilled, caring. Did not feel pressured into surgery, other options were discussed and tried those prior to my FUE surgery. Informed consent followed to a tee. Post op day 3 and no issues so far.

11 months agoI had 750 micro grafts FUE on 1/27/25. Along with that, Dr. Krejci administered a trans-epidermal delivery (TED) procedure. This employs the use of ultra sound to enhance the effect the topical scalp treatment. Back to the Transplant, Dr. Krejci harvested the grafts from the donor area using cutting edge (no pun intended lol) technology. Diane took over in planting the grafts into the recipient area. She has mad skills! Healing of the donor area went fast and with hardly any pain. The less invasive harvesting compared to FUT made a difference. At six weeks the donor area is pretty much back to normal. I took a very conservative approach in caring for the new grafts. I wanted to maximize the survival of the newly located follicles. The pleasant surprise at six weeks is the apparent effect of the TED! This along with everything else I'm doing (including Dr. Krejci' recommended topicals), has led to notable difference in hair density. I’m literally seeing a difference in my hair and the grafts aren't even growing yet! In addition on February 20th I upper and lower eyelid surgery. At 15 days post surgery the combined effect has been remarkable. I look in the mirror and see a younger version of myself! I had a 7K FUT done in August 2018, however during the waiting period I decided to stop taking Propecia. After one year it was disappointingly evident that gains made from the procedure were offset by further loss of native hair (or so it would seem). I immediately went back on the meds, this time the Avodart (dutasteride). Dr Krecji was very supportive and I purchased a Theradome laser and started using it every other day. The meds appeared to be making immediate difference, but the two together didn't hurt. Encouraged by this, and after discussion with Dr K , I decided to go for a 4K FUT in August 2020 to fill in the gaps. The procedure at the new facility was extremely pleasant and Dr K may have thrown in a few extra grafts for my troubles of coming from Hawaii in the middle of a pandemic. She even hooked me up to Judas Priest metal videos while Diane used her mad skills in sowing in the baby grafts. With that I'm sure these babies will surely propagate, but to make sure I won't make the mistake of discontinuing the meds!
