Dr. Daniel Lee, MD, FACS joined the Anderson Center for Hair’s surgical team in 2017, becoming the second most experienced surgeon performing ARTAS Robotic Hair Restoration Surgery in Georgia, with only Dr. Anderson having more experience. After intensive training with Dr. Anderson, Dr. Lee not only learned but mastered the Anderson methods, which combine art and science to achieve the most natural hair restoration results. As the very first graduate of the American Academy of Hair Restoration Surgery (AAHRS), Dr. Lee has excelled and provided outstanding restoration results to many patients. Dr. Lee’s outstanding reputation for delivering compassionate care has followed him into this industry and serves him well when consulting with patients. His genuine demeanor and attention to detail allow him to connect with patients and build peace of mind.
Prior to joining the Anderson Center for Hair, Dr. Lee spent 20 years practicing general surgery with a focus on breast cancer patients. In addition to clinical practice, he was the Chief of Surgery for Piedmont Hospital. During his tenure with Kaiser, he also served as the Physician Program Director for the Pharmacy and was the Chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Dr. Lee completed his undergraduate studies in pharmacy at Rutgers University and his medical training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After receiving an Air Force scholarship, Dr. Lee completed his surgical training at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, followed by a stellar surgical career as an Air Force captain and Chief of Surgery in Warner Robins, Georgia. When he’s not in the office, you can find Dr. Lee at Atlanta’s new SunTrust Park watching his favorite baseball team, the Atlanta Braves. He also enjoys traveling, swimming, movies, and spending time with friends, family, and his rescue pup, Hero.
