I had my hair transplant at the Anderson Center for Hair in Atlanta at the end of January 2026. I intentionally waited more than six months before writing this review because I wanted to be able to comment honestly on both the experience and the results. My crown area had become almost completely bald, and I also had significant thinning through the mid-scalp. At this point, I am seeing real growth in the crown and noticeably greater density through the middle of my scalp. I understand that the full result takes time, so I am still relatively early in the process, but what I am seeing so far has made me very happy with my decision. One thing I especially appreciate is how natural and gradual the change has been. Hair restoration is not an overnight transformation. The growth happens progressively, which was actually a positive for me because the change did not suddenly draw attention from friends, family, or colleagues. Over time, you simply begin to look younger and more like yourself again - with your own natural hair growing back. I did a great deal of research before deciding to have a transplant, and I had plenty of questions and concerns going into it. My consultation with Dr. Jeremy Wetzel was a major reason I felt comfortable moving forward. He was candid and transparent about what I should realistically expect, how long the process would take, and the ongoing maintenance that would be important afterward. I never felt pressured or oversold. For a procedure that represents a significant personal and financial investment, that level of straightforward guidance mattered a great deal to me. The procedure itself was much easier than I had expected. With local anesthesia, I did not find the procedure painful. I had some minor discomfort for about a week afterward, but nothing I would describe as severe. The hardest part for me personally was being told I could not work out for roughly two weeks, and as someone who spends a lot of time in the gym, that may have been the most difficult part of the entire process! What really stood out, however, was the level of personal care after the procedure. Dr. Wetzel personally called and texted to check on me, and I had his direct cell number if I had a question or concern. That kind of access and follow-through is rare. The entire Anderson Center for Hair staff was also kind, helpful, and caring before, during, and after the procedure. Based on my experience so far, I would give Dr. Wetzel and the Anderson Center for Hair five stars. If you are seriously considering a hair transplant and want natural-looking results along with a physician who is transparent, accessible, and personally invested in your care, I would highly recommend speaking with them. For me, this has been one of the best investments I have made in myself, and I am very pleased with the results I am seeing.

(7 months post-op) I want to share my exceptionally positive experience with Dr. Jeremy Wetzel and his team at the Anderson Center for Hair after undergoing both FUE and FUT procedures. I’ve had several transplant surgeries over a 35-year period from a previous Surgeon who has recently retired. The results were life changing. Despite aggressive measures to prevent further loss, I was noticing recession along my part line and front hairline. I have to say that I was quite apprehensive about having to choose a new surgeon, not only for their technical ability, but also their personal approach. I was also hoping that they would still find me to be a candidate for additional transplants. After researching my options, I chose to see Dr. Wetzel—and I am incredibly glad I did. From the very first consultation, everything was outstanding. Dr. Wetzel was thorough, honest, extremely personable, and reassuring. I never felt pressured or "sold" on the procedure. His staff went above and beyond to make sure I understood each step of the process. The surgical center itself was impeccable—spotless, organized, and truly state-of-the-art. I went in knowing that my situation was a difficult one. Since all of my previous surgeries had been follicular unit transplantation (FUT), I had a considerable amount of scarring in the back of the scalp where the donor hair is retrieved. This left limited areas to obtain donor hair for the follicular unit extraction (FUE) method. Dr Wetzel took the time to thoroughly examine the options and created a surgical plan for both FUE and FUT procedures in order to obtain the maximal amount of donor tissue possible. On the day of surgery, the entire team was caring and attentive. I was sedated comfortably and slept through most of the procedure. Pain was remarkably minimal, both during and after the procedure. In fact, I never needed prescription pain medication and took only Tylenol in the post-op period. My recovery was smooth with only minor swelling that resolved within two to three days. I followed Dr. Wetzel’s instructions carefully, including sleeping upright, which made those first few days much easier (the proper chair and pillows are quite helpful). Now that I'm seven months out from my procedure, I can honestly say the results have exceeded my expectations. The transplanted hair looks completely natural, both in density and in the way it blends with my existing hair. The hairline is soft and age-appropriate, and unless I tell someone I've had a transplant, they do not know. The surgical technique was exceptional—there was minimal discomfort, virtually no visible scarring, and the attention to detail is evident in the final result. That level of artistry and surgical skill is something I truly appreciate every time I look in the mirror. Every month the improvement has become more noticeable, and at seven months I'm already thrilled with the outcome. Knowing that there may still be additional growth and maturation over the coming months makes me even more excited. Looking back, choosing to have this procedure was one of the best decisions I've made, and I couldn't be happier with the overall appearance and quality of the work. After decades of experience with hair restoration, I can genuinely say that Dr. Wetzel and his staff are among the very best. Their professionalism, skill, and compassion made this a very positive experience and I am extremely grateful.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Jeremy Wetzel and his team. From the moment I arrived early that morning, everything was organized and ready for me. They explained the entire FUT procedure step by step, which helped me feel relaxed and confident. The team made sure I was completely comfortable before starting, and the numbing process was much easier than I expected. I was so comfortable that I actually slept through most of the procedure. When I woke up, they were nearly finished, and I had virtually no pain. Everyone was professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the day. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and take pride in the quality of their work. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend Dr. Wetzel to anyone considering a hair transplant.

I had an excellent experience with Anderson Center for Hair. I had traveled from Knoxville to Miami to see a top hair transplant expert that was somewhat dismissive of me, telling me I wasn't a good candidate for a hair transplant. I wanted a second opinion so I went down the wormhole looking for the best hair doctors in Georgia and decided to get a second opinion from Anderson Center for Hair based on their reviews. When I met Dr. Wetzel and Dr. Longshore at their Peachtree office, I was very impressed by their ability to answer all of my questions and clarify some of my misunderstandings. They also seemed genuinely attentive to what I had to say and I felt cared for, and that they weren't just trying to sell me something. Another selling point was the ability to do Exosome therapy and PRP on the day of my procedure. The aftercare was impressive as I got regular follow up calls and was able to text Dr. Wetzel with any questions/concerns to which I had many. They were very patient with me. One thing I recommend is asking for the postcare instructions in advance in case you are OCD like myself and eating food with the pain medication when they send you home. I can't recommend Anderson Center for Hair enough and I'm very happy I chose them.

I had an amazing experience with Mr. Wetzel and his team. I was honestly expecting the procedure to be painful, but it was surprisingly comfortable and virtually pain-free from start to finish. The staff was professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. Mr. Wetzel explained everything clearly and made me feel confident throughout the entire process. The follow-up care was one of the best parts. They checked on me before and after the procedure through text messages, answered my questions, and made sure my recovery was going smoothly. It never felt like I was just another patient. If you’re considering a hair transplant, I highly recommend Mr. Wetzel and his team. They truly care about their patients, and my experience couldn’t have been better.
