David S. Orentreich, MD, has been a prominent figure in dermatology since he began practicing in New York City in 1984. After graduating from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completing his dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Orentreich became board certified in Dermatology and joined the Orentreich Medical Group, LLP. As a partner at the practice and Co-Director of the Orentreich Foundation for the Advancement of Science, Inc., he has been instrumental in developing numerous therapeutic procedures and treatments for skin, hair, and nails. His pioneering work has led to the creation of innovative medicines and medical devices aimed at rejuvenating scarred and aging skin. Since 1987, Dr. Orentreich has also served as Clinique Laboratories’ guiding dermatologist, enhancing his reputation as a leading expert in skin care and dermatological treatments.

As an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Mt. He is a member of several prestigious medical societies, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Society for Investigative Dermatology.
