His advanced techniques and expertise attract ENT, dermatological, and cosmetic surgeons from North America and overseas to observe and learn from his methods. Besides training other professionals, Dr. Griffin is a sought-after speaker at national meetings organized by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Growing up in Albany, Georgia, Dr. Griffin earned his B.S. in chemistry from the University of Georgia and his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia. After completing his internship in pediatrics at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital, he served in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Norfolk, Virginia, and later completed his dermatology residency at Mary Hitchcock Hospital at Dartmouth College. Dr. Griffin is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He holds positions on the clinical faculty at Emory University Medical School and is on staff at Northside and St. Joseph’s Hospitals. An active member of various professional organizations, including the Atlanta Dermatology Association and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Griffin continues to make significant contributions to dermatology and hair restoration.
