Dr Georges Zontos

I visited Dr Zontos in July 2024 after extensive research and after being disappointed by visiting some of the most "famous" hair transplant clinics in Athens (no need to mention any names as this review is for Dr. Zontos and not others). He sat with me and explained what the options were for my hair loss. He didn't have any ignorance and he explained things in a very simple and comprehensive way. It's worth mentioning that the doctor didn't push me for a hair transplant at this stage and for the first time a hair transplant Doctor treated me as a human and not as money!!! In case of a HT, he does the extraction and the placement of the new grafts by himself (I asked him 20 times about it during our session and he got tired by answering yes yes yes! Sorry doctor!) He prescribed me with an approved medical solution for my hair loss and I will see him soon to monitor the progress. I still can't understand how he is using a very small number of grafts and he achieves these great results. I even questioned this during our session and he responded with a big smile on his face Thank you Doctor! See you soon!

July 2024 wanted to update my review since I had my procedure 21 months ago . I have posted before and after pictures so the results can be seen . There was a large area to cover and from memory involved approximately 1750 grafts ( about 5000 hairs) . At that time I was Dr Zontos oldest patient at 60 . The results and natural placement are amazing . Although the growth has reached its maximum, my hair is still thickening. The only medication I have been using is topical Finasteride . My thanks to Dr Zontos and his wonderful team . I wanted to share my experience to reassure potential patients they are in very good hands and one of the best worldwide . Oct 2022 I have just finished a two day FUE procedure at Dr Zontos’ clinic. I am from the U.K. and even though I could have had the procedure in the U.K. , no one has the skills or experience like Dr Zontos to carry out such a complex procedure . As I don’t live in Greece , Dr Zontos carried out a zoom consultation so he could assess what was required . I also sent various pictures . It was suggested what I should have done but that it would be finalised when at the clinic and in consultation with me . I arrived at the clinic and was met by Dr Zontos and his wonderful team . The approach required was agreed and the procedure begun that day . Blood pressure and heart rate were taken and a very mild sedative was given to help relaxation . Dr Zontos continuously checks that you are in no pain or discomfort during the procedure . He carried out the extraction then after a delicious lunch , began the implant . This process was repeated the next day . I cannot fault the end result and how kind and attentive everyone is at the clinic . Nothing was too much trouble . Dr Zontos is a prominent physician and an expert in the FUE field . He has numerous accreditations and is chair of various international hair organisations . The choice for me was easy . Apart from everything else , he is a very nice man and so are all his team . They are a pleasure to deal with . I have no hesitation recommending Dr Zontos and his team to anyone Considering FUE.

There is no words to express my gratitude and satisfaction for the AMAZING and so NATURAL looking result that Mr. Dr. ZONTOS achieved for me !! I'm running the 7th month after the FUE procedure and the results are truly spectacular !! Thick, great looking hair, no more empty spots on my head, great natural result which suprises me every day that I look myself on the mirror. As a doctor myself, I can say that Dr. ZONTOS is the BEST certified, highly professional and the most experienced doctor to perform such a specific procedure under the appropriate guidelines for the BEST results. 5 stars are simply not enough for this brilliant doctor and compassionate man,as well as his marvellous team. I have been dealing with hair loss all my life due to underactive thyroid and PCOs, and now during perimenopause, it' s getting even worse. I have low confidence when it comes to my hair, even when have to visit the hairdresser. I have visited so many doctors and used numerous treatment over the years, but the results were never good. This is the first time in my life that I have so much hair! My trips from London to Athens worth every pennie!!!!!!!!
