Dr. Justin Rome, a Fellowship-Trained Hair Restoration Surgeon, is devoted to exceptional work, highly personalized care, and patient satisfaction, by offering the most advanced and high tech methods we have today to treat hair loss. Trained in many modalities of hair restoration, Dr. Rome specializes in the ARTAS robotic system for hair restoration and does not offer older procedures such as the strip method which is all too commonly still performed today. Dr. Rome also performs the most advanced medical therapies including laser treatments and scalp injections to stimulate hair growth. Today Dr. Rome is regarded as one of the top figures in robotic hair restoration and was elected by the ARTAS company to train other hair restoration doctors on how to perform this highly specialized procedure. Dr. Rome’s center is also one of the select few centers to gain recognition as an ARTAS Center of Clinical Excellence and serves as the Medical Director to our locations. Before opening The Robotic Hair Restoration Center, Dr. Justin Rome underwent extensive training in hair restoration surgery. After he graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia PA, he completed an Internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, NY, followed by a Residency at Albert Einstein University in Bronx, NY, then finally Fellowships at the Bassin Center for Plastic Surgery and The Orlando and Tampa Hair Restoration Centers in Florida. With his experience performing many cases with the ARTAS system as well as other FUE techniques including Neograft, Dr. Rome came to realize that the results he achieved with the ARTAS system were far superior to any other method. This is why Dr. Rome decided to establish his own hair restoration service exclusively dedicated to the practice of robotic hair restoration.

a month agoI did three exosome treatments at Barber Surgeons Guild and could not be happier with the whole experience. From my very first visit, Michelle was so welcoming and knowledgeable. She walked me through all the different procedures and options without any pressure whatsoever. We agreed to start slow and move at my pace, which I really appreciated. She was also completely supportive of me consulting with my own dermatologist about the procedure and getting my meds through my provider. That level of transparency meant a lot. Laurent handled all three of my exosome treatments and was incredible. Super professional, supportive, and walked me through every step of the process including the best aftercare post treatment. Never ran into a single issue. I was never promised unrealistic results, and even the before and after photos they showed me were very realistic and in line with what I could actually expect. Nobody ever tried to push extra products or services on me. It's been about four months since my last treatment and I can definitely see results. If you're looking for a place that's honest, approachable, and actually delivers, BSG is it.

a month agoI’m not someone who usually writes reviews, but every once in a while you come across a place that’s so good you feel obligated to tell people about it. I’ve been going to the same barber for nearly 20 years, so when he moved out of the country, I wasn’t sure I’d ever find someone I trusted …then I found Ivan at Barber Surgeons Guild in West Hollywood. The shop itself has a great old-school, eclectic vibe that’s both welcoming and cool. Everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Ivan is the best! He takes his time, pays attention to every detail, and consistently delivers an excellent haircut every single visit. He’s incredibly skilled, easy to talk to, and clearly takes pride in his work. Finding someone who can cut your hair exactly the way you like it, every time, is rare, and Ivan does just that. If you’re looking for a great barber/stylist in West Hollywood, I highly recommend poppin and seeing Ivan at Barber Surgeons Guild. I’m grateful I found him.

3 months agoBecoming a BSG patient has been an absolute game changer for me. I've specifically had PRP and scalp camo have delivered major results that have surprised many friends and family members. On top of that the facilities and staff are top notch. I truly can't recommend them enough.

3 months agoI chose this clinic based on its reputation and invested exactly $8,000 in a hair transplant procedure along with a PRP package they promoted, expecting a meaningful and professionally guided outcome. The staff I interacted with in person were courteous and professional. However, my overall experience has been disappointing. During my consultation, I was told I was a strong candidate with sufficient donor hair to achieve noticeable coverage. Based on that information, I felt confident moving forward with what is a significant financial and personal decision. However, on the day of the procedure, the medical assessment differed in a meaningful way from what had been communicated. The discrepancy was significant enough that the staff contacted the consultant who initially evaluated me early that morning to clarify what had been discussed. By that point, I had already paid and was present for the procedure, which made it difficult to reconsider or change course. In the months following, I attended regular follow-ups (approximately every two months) along with the PRP sessions I had purchased. I was consistently told that the crown area can be slower to respond due to circulation and that results would improve within a 12–18 month timeframe. Unfortunately, I have not seen the level of results I was led to expect within that period. I have included before and after photos for context so others can make their own assessment. My concerns were eventually reviewed with Dr. Rome who met me in person and acknowledged that the outcome did not meet expectations after approximately 16 months. However, the proposed solution was additional other treatments including Exosomes and/or Scalp Camouflage, which do not address the core issue of the discrepancy between the consultation and the outcome. Given the circumstances and the size of the investment, I requested a partial refund. I made this request respectfully and provided detailed context, and I have followed up three times over the past 10 weeks without receiving any response. My intention in sharing this is not to discourage others, but to encourage prospective patients to: - Ensure consultations are conducted or confirmed by a qualified medical professional - Get clearly documented expectations and limitations in writing - Be aware that reviews for different services are combined and not specific to hair transplant outcomes For an $8,000 procedure, clear communication, consistent evaluations, and timely responses to post-procedure concerns should be the minimum standard. My experience did not meet that expectation, and I hope the clinic addresses these gaps. For additional context, the photos I posted are taken by them. The photo on the left (which some may assume is after the procedure) is actually from before the procedure. I am sharing this to help illustrate the level of change following treatment.
