Dr. Kenneth Sanders is a Board Certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a special interest in cosmetic surgery of the face, head, and neck, as well as hair restoration surgery. He entered medical school in 1991 at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, being one of the few accepted before completing a bachelor’s degree, which he later obtained from Louisiana College in Pineville, LA. During medical school, Dr. Sanders developed a keen interest in cosmetic surgery, particularly in the challenging areas of the face. His academic excellence led to his election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and he engaged in basic science research in physiology. Graduating with honors in 1995, Dr. Sanders embarked on a six-year residency in the competitive field of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport. As a widely published head and neck cancer researcher, he presented his work at national meetings in New Orleans and San Francisco and served as chief resident of the head and neck service before completing his residency in 2001.
Following his residency, Dr. Sanders pursued a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Fred J. Stucker, a world-renowned facial plastic surgeon and pioneer in the field. This intensive, year-long fellowship was completed in 2002, during which Dr. Sanders participated in initial studies for FDA approval of Botox for cosmetic use. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Sanders is in the top 1 percent of injectors for Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, and Kybella in the country, performing all injections himself to ensure optimal results. He also trains other physicians across the country as a trainer for Allergan. Committed to helping patients look and feel their best, Dr. Sanders offers a range of procedures, including facial surgery, injectable treatments, hair replacement, and more. He is extremely detail-oriented and truly takes his time with you from the very first consultation all the way through your final visit. He goes above and beyond to make sure you fully understand the entire process — what he’s going to do, why he’s doing it, and what realistic expectations should be. I never once felt rushed or confused. He explains everything clearly and thoroughly, which gave me so much confidence and peace of mind. Another thing that really stood out to me is his staff. Many of them have been with him for years, and that says a lot about his character and the kind of environment he creates. From beginning to end, you’re cared for by the same team members, which makes the whole experience feel personal and consistent. They make sure you are comfortable, informed, and truly well taken care of. If you are looking for a plastic surgeon who is attentive, ethical, and genuinely invested in his patients, Dr. Sanders is someone I highly recommend.

a year agoI went to Dr. Sanders office about a year ago for a consult on my nose. As long as I can remember I have been extremely self conscious about my nose. My main concerns were the width and my bump from my side profile. My surgery was scheduled for June 11th, I am now 3 months out from my surgery and I couldn’t be happier with my nose.
