8 months agoMy journey to Asmed Hair Transplant Clinic in Istanbul was fueled by high expectations, following a glowing recommendation from a friend who underwent the procedure two years prior. From the initial contact to the post-operation care, my experience has been nothing short of exceptional, marked by professionalism, attentiveness, and a seamless process. The clinic’s staff, especially my personal assistant Demet, provided outstanding support. Demet was responsive to all my inquiries, ensuring a smooth transition from scheduling to the actual transplant. The logistical arrangements, including airport pickup in a comfortable van and transportation to the clinic, were impeccably managed, contributing to a stress-free experience. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the clinic’s aesthetics — a clean, art-filled entrance and well-designed patient suites and common areas, complete with amenities for relaxation and work. The intimate scale of the clinic, catering to a select number of patients, underscores its prestigious standing in the global arena of hair restoration. Meeting Dr. Koray Erdogan and his team was reassuring. Their confidence, professionalism, and the calm demeanor immediately instilled a sense of trust. The surgery day itself reflected the clinic’s high standards of care, with Dr. Erdogan and his team ensuring my comfort and wellbeing throughout the procedure. The attention to detail and patient care extended beyond the surgery, with thorough post-operative instructions and a check-up to ensure the transplant’s success. The clinic’s night service also deserves a mention for their diligent care, making the recovery as comfortable as possible. My departure was as smooth as my arrival, with the same excellent driver ensuring my safe return to the airport. While the final results of the transplant are yet to be seen, the service, facility, and overall process at Asmed have set a high bar. I am optimistic about the outcome and grateful for the exceptional care provided by the Asmed team, particularly my assistant Demet, whose dedication was invaluable throughout my stay. I leave Asmed not just with a new hairline but with the confidence of having been in the best hands.

3 months agoHi, I am Irfan from Pakistan. I had a hair transplant three months ago, and so far, I am very happy and satisfied with the results. I spent two years researching before taking this step. During this time, I consistently followed Asmed, looking for any negative feedback but found none. I wanted my hair transplant to be done in the most natural way so no one could easily tell I had undergone a procedure. By looking at their work, I knew their expertise was in hairline restoration, which they perform in the most natural way possible. Finally, I reached out to their coordinator, Suzana, and booked my appointment. Initially, I thought they were expensive, but considering it was for my face and hair, I decided to go for the best. From the moment I entered their facility, I was impressed by their rooms, service, and outstanding staff. Suzana was my coordinator, and my experience with her was excellent. She answered all my questions and stayed in touch even after the transplant. For the first 10 days, she guided me every day, and even now, she checks in on my progress. Thank you, Asmed, for this wonderful job

8 months agoASMED exceeded my expectations and I am really looking forward to my final results. Before picking ASMED, I had a couple friends that had gone to Turkey at other clinics and their transplants were great, BUT in research those clinics, I think my friends got lucky. There is a lot of hair mills in Turkey that just try to push people through as quick as possible. Both of my friends mentioned how much pain they were in during their surgery and recovery and really prepped me for that experience. But ASMED was a completely different experience. My coordinator, Sevinc, was excellent and answered all my questions before flying over. When I arrived, the driver picked me up and took me to the clinic where I would be staying. The clinic is set up like a hospital, which I prefer because everything is right there and sterile and clean. My first day there was prep/blood work, photos, drawing the hairline (by Dr. Erdogan), meeting with multiple doctors and technicians to go over the full plan for the next day. Sevinc was with me the whole time in case I need translation or had questions about what was happening. The technology that was used (including a robotic arm that analyzes your hair before and after) really put me at ease that they wouldn't over harvest my donor area and really have this down to a science. I will be honest that my nerves about the potential pain during the surgery didn't let me sleep much the night before surgery, but before I knew it I was in the surgical room. Dr. Erdogan entered and did my incisions for the front hair line. The other doctor (I forget her name) did all the other incisions. The technicians did all the extractions and implanting (which they are experts at). Here is the amazing part....I had NO pain. They did numb me with a lidocaine block and gave me a Xanax for the day. They did check in regularly to make sure I was numb and added more lidocaine if I was starting to feel anything. Also again their technology is above anything else I have seen out there. I could see during the extraction how many of each follicle they extracted (1 hair, 2 hair, 3 hair, etc.). During the implant stage, I could watch everything they were doing through a camera and tv screen, It was fascinating to watch! Anyway, after a full day with 4 technicians work on my as a team, I went back to my room (I truly appreciated everything being in the same building so I didn't have a taxi ride right after surgery). I was given some pain medication to help with any post procedure pain. Dr. Erdogan and his team came in shortly after the surgery to see the results and how I was doing. I did take the pain medication as I again was terrified of the pain my friends' experienced at other clinics. Well, I slept that night, woke up with no pain. I had significant swelling which is completely normal for a few days post surgery, but no pain. I did my first wash with the technician, then they walked me through all the medications, shampoos, and dos/don'ts for the coming days. I took my post surgery photos as well. They gave me a neck pillow, folder with information, all the necessary medications/shampoos, and my before/after surgery photos (via email). I am now 2 weeks post treatment and while I had swelling, I never had pain to this day. I didn't take any other pain meds other than the surgery night and that is all I needed. The swelling was a bit of a surprise two to three days post surgery, but that quickly went away. I am now waiting for the shedding phase, but I can see what my hairline will look like once the hair grows in fully and I am so thrilled to get to that point. If you are looking at other clinics, do your research and yes, ASMED is more expensive that other places in Turkey, but you get what you pay for. And it is still significantly cheaper than US/Canada or European clinics. Plus Dr. Erdogan is the President of the World FUE Institute and has developed a lot of the amazing technology I mentioned above. So if you are going to get a transplant, why not get it from the best? ASMED is definitely your clinic!
