My husband and I both see Dr. Makou staff They have always been professional and considerate. Maria and the PA were wonderful when I went there. They listened to my concerns and advised on what to do. Their front staff has always welcomed us with a smile. I will recommend them highly

I have nothing but the best to say about this place and Dr.Markou, but the true gem of this place is Mary. She is very professional, knowledgeable, passionate and empathetic about her work. She actually listens when you are speaking with her about your medical issues. Love her professional approach to the pt, she treats everyone with such care. She has such a great positive attitude and she definitely acts like a team player. Thank you Mary, pls don't ever change. We need more people like her in health care ❤️

I am leaving this review to share a deeply concerning experience my mother had at this practice. For months, my mother experienced significant swelling on one side of her body, along with other serious symptoms that raised concerns for a possible blood clot or other major medical issue. Despite multiple visits, her symptoms were not taken seriously and no urgency or thorough investigation was shown. He did order a CT scan and ultrasound (as he should) and told her to go to the er. Never ordered an MRI. At a recent appointment, the physician was not even aware of or prepared with her MRI results, which was especially alarming given the seriousness of her condition. This lack of preparedness and continuity of care added unnecessary stress during an already frightening time. After seeking care from a different physician, an MRI was immediately ordered. That MRI confirmed that my mother does in fact have a blood clot, validating the concerns she had raised for months. Most troubling was an interaction with office staff when my mother learned she may have cancer.(Which she unfortunately was diagnosed with) A staff member responded with, “Well, everybody dies,” which was shockingly unprofessional, insensitive, and completely inappropriate in a medical setting. Patients deserve to be listened to, taken seriously, and treated with compassion—especially when facing potentially life-threatening conditions. Unfortunately, this practice failed on all of those fronts. I would strongly urge others to carefully consider their options before seeking care here. The dr she saw was Dr. Michael Markou
