Dr. Kay obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Manchester in 2003. Following an illustrious tenure spanning over a decade within the National Health Service, she transitioned to the Farjo Hair Institute team in 2014. Driven by her fervor for Dermatology, particularly Scalp and Hair Pathology, Dr. Kay gravitated towards the realm of hair transplant surgery, with a specific focus on the meticulous technique of Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE).
Before embarking on her professional journey, she devoted a year to fellowship training under the tutelage of Drs. Farjo in Manchester, immersing herself in all facets of hair restoration. Dr. Kay boasts esteemed qualifications, including a Post Graduate Diploma in Dermatology, and maintains an active membership with the Royal College of General Practitioners, where she continues to contribute part-time within the NHS. In 2016, she had the privilege of imparting her expertise to novice physicians at the ISHRS-sponsored European Hair Transplant Workshop hosted at the Farjo Hair Institute in Manchester.
