Dr. Hwang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and serves on its Board of Directors, reflecting his esteemed status and dedication to advancing hair restoration techniques.
Dr. Hwang’s influence extends beyond the American Board, as he served as the President of the Asian Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons (AAHRS) in 2011 and 2012. Currently, he holds positions as one of the Board of Governors of ISHRS and the vice-president of the Korean Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (KSHRS). In 2013, he will ascend to the presidency of KSHRS, further cementing his leadership and impact on the global hair restoration community.
