Dr. Thomas Doo, a native of Auckland and an alumnus of the University of Auckland, has earned degrees in Medicine, Law, and Accounting. His educational journey began at Kings College in Otahuhu, where he was awarded a University Junior Scholarship for further studies at the University of Auckland’s School of Medicine. Currently based in Auckland, Dr. Doo practices both medicine and law full-time, leveraging his dual expertise to make significant contributions to his field. His multidisciplinary background allows him to approach patient care with a unique perspective, integrating legal and medical knowledge to provide comprehensive solutions.
A distinguished member of the medical community, Dr. Doo holds full memberships with the ISHRS (International Society for Hair Restoration Surgery) and The World FUE Institute. He is also honored as a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care and a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners. Dr. Doo shares a profound commitment to advancing the field of hair transplantation. Together with Dr. Garsing Wong, they made history as the first New Zealand-born and locally qualified doctors to introduce permanent FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) hair transplant surgery to their homeland. Their pioneering efforts have significantly advanced the standard of care in New Zealand, providing patients with access to state-of-the-art hair restoration techniques.
