Dr. Timothy Ehrlich

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Bosley DC and with Dr. Timothy Ehrlich and his team. Like many people considering a hair transplant, I spent months researching options in Turkey, Mexico, and across the United States. Ultimately, I received a great offer from Bosley DC, and looking back, I am very glad I chose to stay local. The clinic is only about 30 minutes from my house, which made the entire process significantly less stressful. Being able to go home after the procedure, sleep in my own bed, and return the next morning for follow-up care was invaluable. On the day of the procedure, I arrived at 7:00 a.m. Dr. Ehrlich spent time explaining the entire process, setting expectations, and answering every question I had. The staff then guided me through preparation, graft harvesting, lunch, graft placement, and final post-procedure care. The entire process was completed in approximately eight hours and was remarkably organized. One thing that stood out throughout the day was the attention to patient comfort. I brought my own prescribed sedative, which helped me relax, and the team was extremely attentive about making sure I remained comfortable. They continually checked on me and adjusted anesthesia and pain management as needed throughout the procedure. After returning home, I followed the post-operative instructions carefully, using a wedge pillow and neck pillow while sleeping. The next morning, I returned to the clinic for my first wash, which was both helpful and informative. What really impressed me was the follow-up. Dr. Ehrlich personally called me the evening of the procedure to check on me, and PA Saleen called the following morning. That level of personal attention made me feel genuinely cared for and supported. As part of my treatment package, I also received PRP therapy. While I am only two days post-procedure, I am already encouraged by the healing process and optimistic about the final results. One piece of advice for future patients: listen to the doctor. I chose not to shave my entire head and instead only shaved the sides. Now that I cannot style the top during the healing period, the procedure is much more noticeable than it would have been with a full shave. Dr. Ehrlich recommended shaving everything, and in hindsight, he was absolutely right. I have also been taking finasteride, and after discussing long-term hair preservation, Dr. Ehrlich recommended transitioning to a compounded dutasteride-based treatment, which I plan to try over the coming months. I'll be adding some post op photos in a few weeks. Overall, this has been an outstanding experience. The professionalism, friendliness, communication, follow-up, and patient care have exceeded my expectations. While I still have months to go before seeing the final result, my experience so far has been excellent, and I am extremely grateful to Dr. Ehrlich, PA Saleen, and the entire Bosley DC team.

Paid $16,500 for my transplant, over 2700 grafts used and literally no results, hair is still thin and receding and was talked into about getting another procedure done that would be 3000 grafts and would cost over $17,000. Absurd and I believe Bosely is not the company they say they are. I’m not even 30 years old yet and it’s very frustrating to know that this procedure did not do anything at all. Just a waste of time and money.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Bosley and the team at the Washington DC office. From start to finish, the level of care, professionalism, and customer service was exceptional. A special thank you to Trish, who performed my SMP treatments. I completed three sessions with her, and throughout the entire process she was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and attentive. She took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, using real-life examples and analogies that made the process much less intimidating. She never rushed me, answered every question thoroughly, and always made sure I was comfortable and confident with each step. What impressed me most was how invested she was in achieving the best possible outcome. She welcomed pictures, feedback, and follow-up questions between appointments and genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with my results. Trish also sees patients at other locations- you want to ask for her!!!!!! I also want to recognize Ashley, who coordinated my appointments. She was professional, responsive, and incredibly kind from day one. Ashley and Trish worked seamlessly together to ensure everything was scheduled correctly, that I understood the process, and that my overall experience was positive. Their communication and teamwork were outstanding. In today’s world, it’s rare to find people who go above and beyond the way Trish and Ashley do. They made me feel valued, supported, and cared for throughout the entire journey. The results are fantastic, but what truly sets this office apart is the people. If you’re considering SMP or any Bosley service, I highly recommend this team. Trish and Ashley are absolute gems, and Bosley is fortunate to have them. Five stars without hesitation!

The whole staff were wonderful, Dr. Ehrich was very thorough, thoughtful, and knowledgeable man. I highly recommend, if you are thinking about this procedure, or grappling with hair-loss that affects your self esteem to go see Dr. Ehrlich.
