I had my transplant done with Juvida two years ago, as it was something I needed for my self-esteem and confidence. When I arrived, I explained the areas I was concerned about, specifically mentioning both my crown and hairline. Juvida assured me not to worry about the crown or the thinning hairs, advising that adding more grafts there could damage the existing hairs. With this advice, I felt confident and went ahead with the treatment, receiving 1,800 grafts. Now, two years later, the areas I initially mentioned—my crown and the area behind the hairline—are thinning badly, and my confidence is right back where it started. After spending £5,500, the fact that I now need the procedure done again is beyond frustrating. It feels like they did the bare minimum for maximum profit. I’ll need to go through this process again in the new year, but this time I’ll be going to Turkey, even though Juvida warned me that clinics there overharvest and use too many grafts. At least the results in Turkey seem to be impressive, with people not needing repeat treatments. My advice is to stay away from Juvida—it’s a waste of time and money. The staff may be lovely, but the service is terrible.

Having fretted about my hair thinning for a number of years, I spent a lot of time researching, and visiting different clinics, but no organisation made me feel as comfortable or put my mind at ease like the team at JUVIDA. From meeting my fantastic patient coordinator Jamie during my first consultation, to all of the brilliant staff on reception (who are all so friendly, welcoming, and reassuring) I have felt supported and listened to throughout. The staff who administered the procedure on the day were amazing! Incredibly kind, highly skilled, and brilliant at helping to calm my nerves. Aftercare is extremely important, and it was great to know I could always reach out with any questions I had to a member of the team, who went above and beyond to support me - especially Dr. Ahmad. Despite being the most impatient person on the planet, I've actually quite enjoyed seeing the transformation of my hair over the course of the 12 months post treatment, and I genuinely love the results - I’m so much more confident, and 100% happier.

I went to Juvida as I felt they were the place to go after reading their reviews and after my twin brother had his hair done with them. I had an in person consultation and they talked about the number of grafts etc. They looked at my head and sold me their biggest treatment plan, from memory it was £5200 plus £600 for PRP. I had my transplant June 2022 followed by my PRP. I had over 2000 grafts. I had continuous communication and check ups from Juvida. Fast forward 8-12 moths and although my hairline was back, there was no benefit to the rest of my head. I felt it had just been patched and I was very disappointed with the results vs the money I spent. On my last check-up, I did say I feel I was not suitable for a transplant due to the hair loss that I had already experienced. They agreed to carry out a 2nd transplant for me free of charge. Those that have had a transplant, you know how uncomfortable it is and I was dreading going through all of the recovery, having a bad haircut etc all again! In the checkup, the doctor drew on my head and explained what he would do for me. I turned up for my 2nd transplant and he drew on my head again, and explained that as the 2nd treatment is for free, the crown area would be chargeable and he wouldn't be doing it that day! I felt nervous about the treatment, and I really didn't want to create any further anxiety. I had a further 800 grafts. Although I was very grateful for the free 2nd transplant, I really think this should've been done in my first transplant as a whole. I've had to go through it all again. It's been 3 months and I have had no contact from Juvida, why because it was free? I had already given them nearly £6000. My twin had his hair transplant done by a different doctor at Juvida and they did much more than mine in his procedure and he had much better results. Overall, I feel disappointed. Really think if the treatment is right for you. £6000 is a lot of money and I will be paying for a further transplant on my crown, NOT WITH Juvida!

I had my surgery in November 2022 and since then if I have had any questions Juvida have been there straight away. I have had incredible results so far and I’m only 7 months in! I can’t recommend them enough. On the day, naturally I was a bit nervous but the team who were there put me at ease and I knew I was in good hands. A really nice touch is that on the day you tend to be the only person who is in so it’s also very private. I also would highly recommend the dense vitamins and hair products too!
